Collaborate on a piece, plan the event, develop marketing?
If you are interested in collaborating as a film maker, choreographer, actor, dancer, musician, composer, performer, sculptor, costume designer, artist, graphic designer, etc. AUTS needs and wants your creative input to create a unique event that reflects the integrative and special community that is CI. If you are interested in implementing a research idea as a creative artist and collaborating with artists in other disciplines, please submit an application highlighting your skills and ideas! Google Form due December 9, 2018. You will be required to sign up for PA 391 production if chosen to lead a performance team of artists and collaborate with researchers. Depending on your role, this can be a face to face enrollment in the class, or an asynchronous project based approach.AUTS Timeline:
- December 2018, decisions sent regarding participation.
- January 2019, plan of integration developed with each proposal. Each proposal is unique, there are a variety of options. We can always make it work!
- February 2019, creative leaders begin working with researchers to deciding creative content.
- March 2019, mini-research video due. This is so they can be translated for the show. These videos describe the research and often feature the researchers and rehearsal process.
- March 2019, first draft showings.
- April 2019, costumes, props and other needed materials purchased.
- Mid- April 2019, Accompanying video that plays during the main performance is due.
- May 1,2,3 set up, dress and technical rehearsals. Scheduled in advance usually during class times.
